Great Breakfast!!! Except for the loud mouth in the corner that had to be kicked out. Glad the manager was doing her job!!!

Good food and nice family restaurant. I highly recommend the Churasco steak and eggs. The service is usually good but not consistent. Bathrooms are clean and the restaurant is very roomy and nicely decorated.

I've waited until my third visit to review this place because I didn't want to jump the gun and be mean.....but the service is so awful, it doesn't matter what the food tastes like... And the food is a 2 at best anyway. Came in after the Cooper City fun run hungry and thirsty at about 845 am with the restaurant being half full.....After being sat and waiting 20 minutes to even be acknowledged, I went back to the hostess stand to see if someone could at least take our drink order.....when the server did arrive, it was another 15 before we got water, coffee and oj. Bottom line is we got our drinks 10 mins before our meals.....took 35 mins for drinks and 45 minutes for breakfast.... Do yourself a favor and skip this place... Beverly Hills cafe has ten times better service and food!!!!

The servings are HUGE! I came here for brunch with my friends and ordered a sausage and cheese omelette that I could only eat less than half of. The hash browns were super yummy as well. I'm definitely coming back here to try the other dishes.

Went in at 908pm and was told that the kitchen is closed. Restaurant had a lot of people. So what happens if some one inside seated needs something else from restaurant. Yea that screams lazy to me!!!!

So, did the usual Sunday Brunch bit and decided to try a diner we hadn't been to. I had read reviews from yelp and thought to give Blue Moon a shot. Ugh. First I want to start with letting everyone know that the staff were great. From the hostess to our server, and even the busboy, we were handled with the utmost courtesy and care. The FOH staff here are great.. that having been said, the food here was seriously subpar. I always look for what I call "signature flavor" and Blue Moon totally lacks it unless relatively flavorless save for grease and syrup is your style.. In order to get what I wanted, I basically had to combine two different orders so when you see the photo I posted, don't think the portions here are big, they are standard. We waited for quite some time to get food which, in some places means good, but generally in SoFla means poop. Our french toast came out luke warm and had the saving grace of syrup. The bacon (also just warm, not hot) had the consistency of greasy cardboard and the scrambled eggs were wet. This type of temperature and consistency variation shows an obvious lack of timing on part of the cooking staff. To top it all off the food here gave my kid a stomach ache, and frankly left me feeling off. Ugh. Crappy food. We could've done better at Waffle House.. wtf.

Best breakfast I've had in a long time! Good breakfast out west in the Pembroke Pines/Plantation area is hard to find besides your ihop and dennys there aren't many options, there's cracker barrel too but I'm not a fan. This place on the other hand serves great breakfast. It's called a diner but it does not look like one at all (which I love because I've never been a fan of the diner look). The inside is clean and spacious there are tables and booths. There are also tv's all around so you can catch the game etc... They serve breakfast until 3pm but they also serve lunch and dinner. For my breakfast I got the 8oz NY sirloin steak and two eggs, this came with hashbrowns and toast. This was one of the best steak and eggs meals I've had. The steak and the eggs were cooked perfect not overly seasoned. The hashbrowns were very tasty and crispy on the outside. The bf got their toasted bagel all the way. This came with nova, cream cheese, onions, lettuce, tomato and olives. All the fixings came on the plate and you could make it just how you like it. I didn't try it (since I don't like nova) but my bf loved it. We also ordered 2 of their butttermilk pancakes (short stack). They were huge and fluffy and cooked to golden perfection. Service was friendly and fast. Their menu seems to have a little bit of everything. My only complain is that the coffee sucked ;( It was so bitter. I will definitely come here again maybe just bring my own coffee ;).

Found this diner by chance. I have passed the shopping center several times and never noticed it, but it's at the very end situated somewhat behind a Mc Donalds. When we entered, there was a party of three waiting to request a table and the place was busy but not packed. As we waited 2-3 more parties came in, and the lobby was now filled with 10-12 people just waiting to get their name on the list. Not one employee greeted or acknowledged the starving crowd in the lobby for a few minutes which I thought was strange though we eventually were seated. We browsed the menu which consisted of all the usual breakfast items. It is fairly simple selections but plenty of good choices and prices are decent. I went with a frozen cappuccino and the country fried steak. It was all really good! However, service remained slow throughout the visit. It wasn't the worst service I have had, but at times we really needed a refill or had a small request that took more time than it was worth. I would definitely try the place again because of the good food and decent prices and would have easily given it 4 stars if the service was better.

What i LOVE about Moon Blue Diner is that is doesn't look like a typical diner!! Much cleaner, more upscale!! What I don't like is for the past 5 times I've been for breakfast, i always order my FAVORITE thing - Eggs Benedict. Warning to all: The cooks do not know how to properly poach eggs. They come out rock hard, with the yolk cook solid every time. And of course, I always forget to request to the waitress to have them cooked properly. So i don't send them back because it'll mean another 15-20 wait while the rest of my table eats their breakfast. As for the one time I went for dinner, I ordered the Grouper Francise, which was absolutely delicious! Tender, flaky on the inside, slightly crisp on the edges and the prefect lemon butter wine sauce on top. Yummy! Their french fries (that come with burgers) are lacking. Can be best described as fat, crispy-burnt nubs. Seriously, all the fries were an 1" long in size and tasted mealy, old. They need a better french fry. Service is hit and miss. Depends on your waitress and what her mood is that day.

I just wouldn't eat here again. I know that some people enjoy themselves here but I found it lacking a lot. I ate here around 5:00 pm and it was empty. We were the only ones there. I ordered a spaghetti and I could see inside the kitchen. The men cooking for us where opening cans. That leads me to believe, they don't even make their own sauce. For that I eat at my house. The food is mediocre and the atmosphere is lacking. It was plain and quiet. I came with someone else that didn't enjoy their food either. She had something with mushrooms in it and she says that they tasted like the ones from cans. If you're in the mood for canned food, this is the place for you. It's not pretty inside, definitely not like a diner.

This is our first time here. It's Easter Sunday but surprisingly not crowded. There was a apparent delay because of their change in chef. Our waitress was Lucy and she was friendly. The wait for food was long but as I looked around the room I noticed that others were also experiencing a long wait. So now for my review of the meal, the coffee was very weak and the room temperature creamers on the table did not help but that is the only down side to my experience. The food was good, hot, and plentiful. The restaurant was clean. The dining experience was pleasant and felt like a family diner experience. I would say this is more of a $$ in terms of price but well worth it. I will be back and encourage others to give this spot a chance too!

Been here only a few times but it's a great place for weekly power meetings as well as your every day family place for breakfast and lunch. They serve predictable food but when there's a problem it's always handled promptly and with a smile. Good food, good service and reasonable prices . That's why we keep coming back.

Super nice waitress each time we go for brunch after church. In love with the broccoli and cheese omelet. My husband likes the waffles and French toast. The hash browns could use some seasoning but they're good. Their bagels are nice and soft every-time! Smoothies are too sweet for my liking :)

Go to place for lunch if you want something fast and get your money's worth of food. Very generous portions. The 12 oz Churrasco Steak is a steal for lunch. The Mess under their breakfast special was tasty.

I really enjoyed this place, the service was great and so was the food! I had the arroz con pollo, it was delicious, the portion was huge and it was only 5.99 on their lunch menu. I will definitely be back!

Breakfast is great. Prices are very reasonable. My family and I have eaten here for an early dinner as well, but is decent for the price. One of the better diners in the area. There menu has a lot of options so there is something for everyone which is great

Attended a luncheon event here. I was surprised at how nice it was inside. I will admit I was biased at the name DINER in their title. I expected greasy food and spotty service. Not at all. I had the chicken ceasar salad and while it is not rocket science, the chicken was actually perfectly done and delish! Also had their Boston creme pie which was decent. Their coffee was good as was service. Thing is, their menu is very limited. If they dropped DINER from their name and added a couple of unique dishes they could be much more interesting I think. But it is what it is: inexpensive diner Would I choose to go back? No Would I mind if I had to go for an event? No Just ok.

Another SCORE using Yelp! This place was great. Seriously, try the Chicken Fajita Omelette. I kid you not...probably the best omelette I've ever had. Friendly service, reasonable prices and good ambience, too! A new favorite.

It is what it is. A diner. But it the decor makes it look like one of the nicer diners. It looks simple and classy and I was surprised at how cheap the food was once I sat down and saw the menu. My friend Lucy W. took me to this place on our "breakfast date" on my visit to FL and thank goodness she did! The food was not mouth-watering delicious, but it was flavorful and excels in its category. I ordered the Spanish omelet and it was HUGE. Looked like it could feed 4 people or more. I decided to ditch the hash brown, but not before I had a taste of it (It was good-- crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside). One thing is, this place didn't really seem to understand gluten sensitivity. I told my server that I have am allergic to wheat and gluten (this is what I tell people, so that it is easier to understand) and that I could not have my food cooked on the same pans that used foods containing gluten and that I did not want the toast because just a crumb of it would keep me in bed for over a week. When I got my food, I noticed that THERE WAS CRUMB ON MY PLATE (looked like the cook put the toast on my plates, then remembered that I could not eat it, then took it off the plate). Needless to say, I was upset, but I doubted they would've done a better job the second time around, so I decided to eat the side that seemed safe and didn't touch 1/3 of my food, which was near the crumbly area. Well, surprise, surprise. I became violently ill that evening and I've been feeling under the weather since, since my body is still recovering. Shame on me for eating the food, even when I knew I shouldn't have. Shame on the cook/server for not taking allergies seriously. I don't know if I'll return to this place and I don't really trust that this place is safe for people with food allergies/intolerance/sensitivity, but if you don't have anything to worry about, do give this place a try! You'll be stuffed silly in a comfortable atmosphere for a really, really cheap price!

We tried it, we loved it, and I could not believe it! The value for your $$$ is excellent. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Good portion sizes without being ridiculous, excellent flavors that you would not expect in a diner, and the decor is really nice too. This location was at one time a fancier place with much higher prices. They kept many of the really nice features such as the stone work and carved wood trim, so it is really cozy. They have take out and local delivery available. I got the blackened salmon salad (hold the cheese) and my BF got the chicken marsala special. Our whole bill with desert was $23. We will be coming back for sure. I can't wait to try breakfast!

I have eaten at the Blue Moon at least ten times. The bad reviews that I have read must be from competirtors or from people who do not have a clue what a diner should be. If food is not good, immediately get your server to take it back and order something else, not the same thing warmed over! Breakfasts are tasty and well served. Dinners offer an extensive selection, with the fish always cooked properly, the one pound chopped stek (9.99!) smothered with mushrooms and onions, specials every day, have always had good service and for those that do not, may I suggest that you call the server over and voice your compaints nicely. You will be amazed how service improves. In summary, nice setting, fair prices, good food, and good service. can't ask any more for a diner!

Nice place, nice people, good food, reasonable prices. Sometimes you can find cupons that make it even better. Today we had excellent Churasco and country fried steak. All was excellent, even John our server. Try it.....it is way better than the chains.....friendler and better food.

Great low prices. Boring diner food. What was expecting? I guess the Yelp reviews made me think it would be better. I went for lunch and the food was of the premade rice pilaf and steamed veggies variety.

I have eaten at the blue moon diner around six times, so I have formed some sort of opinion on it. Enough to write this review already. Well start with the building itself. For the prices on the menu, the blue moon diner has a very nice interior. They did a good job decorating the whole inside. Now thee service, everyone that has served me has web nice, not always competent, but nice and usually speedy. On two occasions my friend ordered a sandwich without tomatoes and low and behold got tomatoes! Besides that they also forgot to put in there order once. Maybe she is cursed, I never had any problems with the service. Okay on to the food! Breakfast is pretty good, for the price you get giant plates of food. Lunch is also a bargain for the amount off food you get. I recommend one of their warps! Very good! Dinner is just as good as breakfast and lunch. I have never had a complaint on the food. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. Give them a try!

It's still okay but I guess I just wasn't craving it. I finally went back after a long time and it just wasn't the same. They now serve bread except it was hard . I will say that it was quite busy so they must be doing something right and once again, did I go on a bad day?! Again?!! The split pea soup was okay, could use about 1 teaspoon less of salt. The French Tip was good, and a steal at $7.99, came with steak fries. The beef was good, not salty or dry but good. My mom's salmon pasta thing was only good during the first 5 bites. Afterwards it was just too saucy and overwhelming and I also realized the salmon was a bit salty and overcooked... I just wasn't craving anything with pasta and surprisingly, aside from steak, most of the menu was pasta. Maybe I'm better off coming during lunch or on a day when I am not craving breakfast food. =-p

First time trying the diner and had a great breakfast experience. Food was delicious and service was great. Our waitress Theresa was a pleasure. Would recommend to everyone for a great home style breakfast in a nice setting.

Food is ok, Denny's quality. Environment is great. Coffee tends to taste a little over roasted/burned. If you like a cheap meal for breakfast this is your to go place. If you want a good, homey, hearty, fresh, breakfast, you might want to try elsewhere. My comment is only about the food quality not the place. This place is great I just wish the food tasted better.

I don't know about you, but when I hear the word diner I think old/old school but this place doesn't really look or feel old, the decor inside is actually nice and pretty up to date. It is also a pretty big place it has like 3 or 4 rooms of seating. Both times we've come in we've gotten seated right away even though it's been late Sunday morning when it's pretty busy and people are out for brunch/lunch. So no complaints there. And also both weeks in a row we come for Sunday brunch and we have the wonderful Tracey as our waitress. The first week I was very impressed with the fact that I felt like we got everything so quick (except the last thing we ordered to go). We both drank mimosas which were pretty good and strong, so I was happy about that since they're only $3.95/glass. I had a toasted bagel all the way, which is pretty much a bagel & lox (salmon) with tomato, lettuce, cucumber, onions and cream cheese (also brings olives, but I asked for it without them). It was good and fresh, nothing too different from other places, but I had been wanting bagel & lox so that's why I got it. My husband had the eggs Benedict and that was very good. I then went ahead and asked for a vanilla shake to go and she said it would be a few mins but it felt like that took longer than our food did to come out. Today we came in excited to have some more yummy food and mimosas and when we ordered them she came back saying they had run out of champagne. It's a part of their "weekend breakfast specials menu" so you figure they would have enough to last all weekend. I was so disappointed, and for that I am giving them one less star, you should be able to have enough champagne to last through the weekend brunches! I had the eggs Benedict this time, which were good, but just had way too much hollandaise sauce. It wasn't just over the eggs, it was all over the plate. And my hubby had the Super Mess which is scrambled eggs with chopped ham, sausage, bacon and potatoes topped with homemade sausage gravy and also toast and hash browns. It's a pretty big plate, so if you're gonna have this be either very hungry or share it, or it will go to waste. The eggs with the gravy sounded good, but I was iffy about it until I tried it and it's pretty delish. Overall the food we've had has been very good. Love that they have mimosas on the weekend, except when they run out of champagne (not cool). And service has been pretty spot on. Would definitely recommend this place for brunch (because that's all we have had and cannot vouch for lunch or dinner as of yet).

I'm not normally a fan of diners but when we were hungry on a weeknight my husband and i wanted to find something close to home, so we decided to stop by here after the gym. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were all friendly and the food pretty solid. That night they had Chicken Marsala on the specials menu. I love chicken marsala but since my husband ordered that i ordered the broiled salmon. Salmon was cooked well, not overcooked or dry, really good flavor and the chicken marsala was really good!. Meals come with either soup or a salad so i decided to try their split pea soup. The bomb! Ridiculously cheap and the portions were huge, so much food that i could not finish everything on my plate. For a neighborhood dinner, it is good. Will be back.

My family and I have been eyeing this place for a while. We finally stopped by for dinner. Only real complaint that I have is that we waited so long to try it. The food was delicious. Must try their wings (buffalo) and their seafood chowder. Kids meals were only two dollars and the serving size was BIG. PLUS they got a JUMBO sized cookie included with the meal, so bonus. Wife had the chicken salad club sandwich, which was insanely good, and I had the Thanksgiving dinner plate. Portion sizes were big enough that we both couldn't finish our meals. I could keep going on but there's really no need to. If you're in the area, and you want a great meal for a great price, stop by. Oh yeah. Fed my family of four, well, for less than forty bucks. What other high quality restaurant would you get that?

  • Luisa C.

This place definitively does not have the set up of a conventional diner, in fact more like a restaurant. Very clean and staff was polite. Their menu has almost everything you can think of from breakfast items to pasta dishes and meatloaf - you name it. I opted for the Greek Salad, which came with Feta, Kalamata olives, red onions, cucumber, tomato and greens. The greens were not exactly on the fresh side, but it was ok. The protein option was either chicken or shrimps. ($8.99), I would probably come here again, but its not my favorite. Marcy our waitress was very lovely and quick.

  • Jason S.

We were here when they first opened. Living in the neighborhood right behind here we have noticed that nothing stays open in this corner spot. So we decided to check it out. The first time we went we weren't very impressed. The servers seemed like it was there first time serving. The food took forever to come out. That was a while back, so we decided to come back in now and see if they improved. I would say they improved service wise. The food was out in a reasonable amount of time. I ordered a 2-2-2 with French toast and my girlfriend had a 2-2-2 with pancakes. We both feel as if it was priced to high for what you get. The food was decent. Nothing special. 2 Eggs 2 bacon and 2 French toast.

  • Jeanine A.

I am a big fan of dinners but Blue Moon is not my favorite in the area. Their french toasts are good, pancakes are big and fluffy, but every time I come I have a problem with my eggs. The omelettes are a pretty big size but the flavors of all the veggies get lost with the amount of cheese they put in. I also tried the white eggs with Canadian ham, trying to stay away from the omellettes, but the eggs didn't have no flavor and didn't taste fresh. So if you are not a big fan off omellettes or white eggs and are just looking for a inexpensive meal at a nice clean dinner you will do just fine at the Blue Moon Dinner.

I really like this place for the value and consistently good food. It isn't gourmet but I'm not going to a diner for gourmet. Both my kids enjoy the food there which is enough for me and the kids meals are very reasonably priced. I've eaten dinner and breakfast and both are done well. So I have 4 stars here but again that's a combination of price to value. You can't some good food in a nice restaurant with friendly waitstaff. Then come on by

  • Ronald L.

I almost always enjoy Blue Moon. The portions for everything on their menu are made for big guys...you will not leave here hungry. They have an excellent kids menu with .99 kids' meals Tuesday through Sunday with the purchase of an adult meal. My sons ate Chicken Parmesan with pasta and a Crispy Fish and fries. Both were prepared nicely, good portions and come with a giant cookie. I've eaten a Salmon Cesar salad which was delicious and many other dinners which I've enjoyed. My only problems with Blue Moon is the wait time Sundays during lunch and around dinner times. Also, they should get some cell phone boosters because the whole restaurant is a dead zone (thanks for finally getting Wifi).

Ok. So this is like the Brigadoon of restaurants. This ace must appear only once every 100 years, and the decor never changes. This place is at least 100 years out of date. As soon as I walked in, I started to sing the Golden Girls theme song because of all the blue hairs in this place. After sitting down, I felt really comfortable and at ease. It was a very relaxed feel and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Philly Chicken Sandwich. The rest of my group had soup or salad. They said it tasted good. Ok. So we've been here for almost an hour. We still haven't eaten our food. It's just now arriving. All of it looks like it was prepackaged and zapped. Also, there's enough salt on it to cure raw meat. Salty fast food fare that is awkwardly slow to arrive.... I would only recommend this place to people whose taste buds have died already and who are not thrown off by the effect of time travel.... And the "Eye Of The Tiger" playing as they eat.... I've awarded them two stars because... Well... They tried.... Edit: no more than 1 minute after posting, we asked for the check. The hostess we asked to send our server over was a terribly nasty and foul person... For that, they lose the 2 mercy stars I gave them. I gave them 1 because the app will not allow me to give them 0. If you plan to enjoy dinner, stay far away from this pit.

I usually only go to Blue Moon Diner for breakfast, so I can't comment on its lunch or dinner... It's is a nice break from your typical breakfast place. Blue Moon Diner is clean, beautifully decorated, spacious, friendly staff, and overall good food. It's probably one of my favorite places to get breakfast on the weekends. The reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are inconsistent when it comes to timely service, food quality, and noise level. Several times I've gone, our food has taken way too long to get to us. Coffee is ok. They also need to learn how to cook an egg over medium (it's always too runny). So I've learned to stick to their omelettes, the spinach and feta one...yum! My bf recently discovered the Super Mess, he's in love. The last comment I have is about the noise level...if you get seated in one of their extra rooms, prepare for everything to be heard. The mix of tile floor, vaulted ceilings, and a loud crowd (or screaming kiddies) will blast your ears. It's a hit or miss getting seated in those rooms. Even with these minor downfalls, we keep coming back to Blue Moon Diner. Frankly because it's unlike any other "diner" we've been to and the food is usually tasty. Check it out and see for yourself.

OH NOOOOO!! So this is my third visit to this place for a "super salad" - my first two I've tried a delicious blackened salmon salad with balsamic vinaigrette and have had left overs due to large portions. Soo, why not give it a third round? I brought a co-worker and discussed the portions, deliciousness and even described enough to make her mouth water. And then it happened.. disappointment came, and bad service followed.. We got there and quickly ordered our glasses of water with lemon. Kristen took a look at her menu but I was set on my salad - mission in mind, I placed our orders. When they were delivered, I seemed to have missed the memo. They now serve salads in a smaller plate (no longer the large portions I grew accustomed to) which changed the presentation as well. They changed the lettuce (obvious cut back as well) and don't include as many vegetables. The disappointment came in me letting not one but TWO employees know, and them acting as if "I'll be alright". NOT OK. Mixed green salads with cheese crumbles ARE different than iceburg lettuce with mixed mozzarella cheese. Especially to a pescetarian. :) Hopefully this could be understood and reviewed for great progress. All in all, not the same and won't visit for a "super salad" lunch again. There's too many salad joints that serve delish freshness than to visit a diner that no longer cares about it.

Here is a question to discuss among yourselves: Should a restaurant accept coupons that are only a few days old? I received a flyer with several coupons on it in my mailbox a few weeks ago and I decided to try this place since I had the coupons and it is close to where I live. The coupons actually expired on December 31st; however, being that it was only three days past the expiration date, I brought them with me anyway. BTW, I did call for delivery and they informed me that they don't deliver to my neighborhood and that they have a very limited delivery area. This must be a very, very limited area b/c I only live like ten minutes away. But I digress... The restaurant was practically empty although I did show up at around 7:30pm and they close at 9pm so this might explain why they only had a few tables occupied. On a side note, the word "diner" is a misnomer for this place. They don't serve breakfast all day, they actually close at a reasonable hour and it doesn't have that diner feel to it. But once again, I digress...(I'm giving you a lot of time to discuss the question at hand.) I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich platter which comes with a soda, fries and a dessert. The sandwich came out fairly quickly and they gave me a pretty decent piece of chicken in size and taste. The fries were steak fries which I personally don't really like, but I ate them anyway and I can't necessarily blame them for that. However, it would have been nice for the waitress to let me know that they serve steak fries b/c not everybody that likes french fries likes steak fries. But a minor detail in the scheme of things. I chose the chocolate mousse cake for dessert and it was good. They gave me a medium sized piece but since it came with my dinner, I can't complain on that front. The waitress dropped off the check in a timely manner and when she came back to check on it, I let her know that even though the coupons had expired on the 31st, that was only three days ago and most places still accept coupons such as these. She said she was sorry but "they" won't accept those coupons any longer. Who is "they"? I'm assumng she was referring to management but I have learned that it is never safe to assume anything anymore. I didn't ask and I didn't feel like putting up a fight so I just paid the bill and left. I liked the food and the service was fine. I was just a little annoyed that they wouldn't accept the coupons. I feel that a few days is not a big deal and in my mind, they are losing a customer. There are so many diners to choose from that why should I go back to this one when it's not even a diner and they don't accept coupons that are only a few days old. This is more of a place that I would go to if you are closeby and you don't feel like spending a ton of money.

Such a great place. Been here w just our family &w a private party of 40 people for a Robbie & Christian's rehearsal dinner AND for Ruby's baby shower. There is nothing they can improve on. Had the huge stuffed lobster (shrimp stuffing....w/ WHOLE shrimp in it) on spinach rice....its not just good for cooper city...this is great if you were at the beach....but you would pay more than twice the price ALSO....kids meals are 99 cents w/ the purchase of a regular meal...includes their drink AND dessert portions are crazy large....the 2 chk parms my kids had were, in my opinion, regular sized meals. same w/ the kids meatloaf 4 of us w/ tip for under $50.00....w/ 2 to go boxes the staff gets very high marks too as friendly & attentive

My husband and I went here for lunch the day after the Superbowl. I got a turkey club sandwich on a ciabatta bun and he got the country fried steak for $5.99 that included mashed potatoes, gravy and sauteed vegetables. Everything was delicious and more then reasonably priced. The waitress was attentive and our food came out in the right amount of time. We moved to this area recently and are ecstatic to find such a great place close to home. We are looking forward to going back again!

First visit for a business meeting. Most of my business meetings are at restaurants. I run a social media marketing company. Nice, big, quiet, comfy, with plenty of parking. Good value for the money. I enjoyed a monstrous chicken Caesar salad this visit, and it was the meal that kept on giving. The waitress was attentive without hovering, especially after we all have a mouth full of food. Good stuff, I look forward to trying other fare, there.

A friend of mine ended up here after going to the Flashback Diner and discovering the power was out. We found Blue Moon on Yelp, and headed over. The place was clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious. We both had omelets and hash browns. The portions were huge and we both had left overs. This is a great little place.

If you a looking for a spot that has better food, service and portions than the local Ihop check this spot out. Portions are huge, menu is diverse and the add on sides are massive. Added bacon strips to an omelet plate and instead of the 1-2 you'd normally get at Ihop, it was 4-5 huge strips of bacon that covered a good bit of the plate. Service was friendly, with frequent check ups and coffee refill service never let the cup get to the half way empty mark. If you want a high end breakfast go downtown and spend $40 a person. If you want quick, dinner type meals with large portions and great prices try out this spot. Just avoid peak hours as they are very busy.

Had the opportunity to visit Blue Moon several times in the last several months always for breakfast. Every time has been a great experience until Mothers Day morning. We went early, no lines and not to busy. Ordered 3 omlettes and a couple eggs and bacon. 2 out of four came out incorrect, and all four were laced with oil. We all asked for spray or light oil. So you could imagine not a good breakfast. I give it 2 stars because of past experience and good ambience. 1 star for this mornings breakfast. Also the kitchen took over 30 minutes to get the wrong food to the table. My mother sent her order back, so not much of mothers day breakfast. Disappointing. Feel bad for the long line of people waiting as they are going to be waiting for a long time that is for sure.

We ate there on a Sunday morning and we were pleasantly surprised that there wasn't much of a wait for the 3 of us. Our server was very nice and had a pleasant attitude. The only negative was that two of us ordered omelettes and they both were over cooked. I don't consider my self an expert cook, but you can definitely tell when to pull the omelette out of the pan. My other complaint (which is minor) is that they send coupons in the mail. However, the coupons are only valid for Monday-Friday for breakfast. For many of the population that works during the week, this is kind of a bummer.

I need to have some breakfast and stumbled upon the Blue Moon Diner. This place was a great find, I have to say I'll be coming here again when I'm in the area. I'm interested in trying some other their lunch items. Back to my breakfast. I ordered an omelette with pretty much a variety of meats and some fries. Whoa brother ! Rarely can I say I was completely stuffed, but I was caught between gluttony and wasting good food. I won't say what I chose, but I could hardly walk when I left. The food here was really good. Service was also on point. Very nice place, I can really recommend this place.

Nice appearance inside, cheap, and boring food, nothing great or special. Why other people give this place high scores is beyond me. I will not recommend this place or waste my time and money here again.

I went there with my family for our Sunday night dinner, just to give it a try. In the end, we were all disappointed with the experience. Don't get me wrong, it is definitely not the worst restaurant I've been to but it is a place I will not return to. The diner is located in what I believe used to be a British or Irish restaurant/pub and they decided to keep the warm decor. It is has a very pleasant atmosphere but it is a theme that doesn't correlate with the diner's style. It was kind of like walking into a basketball arena to watch a live baseball game. Secondly, the menu was a disaster. There was no continuity and it seemed as if the owners decided to take on every food style known to the culinary world. The menu had everything from mussels and pasta to arroz con pollo. In between they offered steaks, sandwiches, and wraps. In my opinion, a successful establishment must have a consistent menu, which this diner lacked. Then the food came (cue dramatic music...) and our experience was sealed. I myself ordered a buffalo chicken wrap with a side salad. Not only did it come out cold, but the chicken tasted like it came straight out of a frozen bag. My wife ordered a meatloaf, which is a diner staple. It had a good flavor to it but the potatoes were cold as were the vegetables. In fact, it looked like a TV dinner...not what I expected from a diner. The rest of my party all ordered different items and each one had it's flaws. In the end, the only good thing we ate was the bread served before the meal. The food DEFINITELY was not fresh and most likely was frozen and precooked. The service was not terrible, although the food did take long to come out. Blue Moon Diner is not worth the time or money and I recommend that if you are considering going there to try it out, don't. You will be disappointed.
